Hydrogel is a sodium polyacrylate, a substance that ideally absorbs water and water-based substances. Ideally suited as a storage of water and nutrients for plants, both during drought and when we do not water the plants for a long time.

Hydrogel is suitable both for large-scale and home-grown crops, for example for potted plants or home gardening, lawns or greenhouses. Hydrogel is a nice solution for our plants if we travel a lot, or we do not have much time to work in the garden.

Hydrogel can be applied in a dry form directly to the substrate or in a wet form when it will mix with water - thereafter the roots of the plant should be immersed in the gel.
 When applying hydrogel, it is recommended to use 1 kg per 1 m3 of soil. In the case of pot plants, it is recommended to use about 1 gram of hydrogel per 1 liter of soil. 
In addition to the use during planting, hydrogel can be used to protect plants while traveling with the exposed root system.
