CANNA Terra Professional Soil Mix is nothing like, what garden centers offer. It contains a mixture of
soil, compost, perlite and special natural adjuvants, which are a mixture of organic substances. If you
plan to grow plant in the ground, this product is what you need.
Exclusive organic ingredients of very high quality, such as for example, loose sphagnum and types of
tree bark that have disinfecting properties, are the ingredients of Canna Terra Professional and Terra
Professional Plus. They have a direct effect supporting the development of roots and strong shoots,
while the accelerated metabolism combined with a low incidence of diseases is conducive to
achieving high yields.

How often should you water your plants in Canna Terra Professional soil?
Adjust the amount of water to the needs of the plant, depending on the size of the pot used, the
conditions and the stage of development of the plant itself. Under normal conditions, fast-growing
mature plants need around 4-6 liters of moisture per 1m 2 every day.

Remember that larger the pot, the more stable the environment for root development will be. Make
sure there is sufficient drainage; you can put a thin layer of gravelite on the bottom of the pot to
allow drainage and air flow.

CANNA Terra Professional cultivation soil is a substrate with organic additives with a uniform
structure, which is 100% natural and without harmful viruses and soil pathogens. The CANNA Terra
Professional mixture contains a complex air-water system that guarantees the perfect environment
for all kinds of crops. Once CANNA Terra Professional soil has been used, it can be used as an
excellent soil improver.

A good start is essential - instructions for the first weeks of cultivation with Canna Terra Professional soil

A good start of seedlings is extremely important for obtaining good yields. Pay attention whether the
purchased seeds are intended for outdoor or indoor cultivation. The germination process will be
successful if you do the following:

1. Put your seeds in a glass container with water. Change the water daily if necessary. The seed
will be viable if a small root emerges.
2. The roots should not be too long, as they may be susceptible to damage, which may prevent
the formation of the plant.
3. Remove the sprouts from the water and gently place them, one at a time, in the holes about
3 cm deep, then lightly sprinkle them with potting mix. After about a week, the first plants
should appear and if all goes well, 80-90% of them should develop.
4. Place the plants in CANNA Terra Professional or CANNA Terra Professional Plus. Press the
mixture lightly. Aeration is very important for proper root development.
5. Do not place the sprouts too deep - this may prevent their further development. The correct
depth is about 1.5 cm.
6. To stimulate better root development and stabilize the cuttings, it is recommended to apply
Canna RHIZOTONIC rooting agent 2 or 3 times in the first week.
7. Use CANNA Terra Vega for the growth phase and CANNA Terra Flores for the flowering
phase. The flowering phase begins when the first flowers appear.
